SMHAM Conducts Free Seminar for Motorcycling Parents
In the aim of reducing motorbike accidents among children, The Shark Motorcycle Helmet Association of Malaysia (SMHAM) has conducted a free seminar for motorcycling parents. SMHAM says it is important that every person riding with their children are informed of the safe riding practices when there’s a child in the pillion. Riding with children should be done with utmost safety. ( Photo Credits ) In Malaysia, it is common to see children riding with their parents in their motorbikes going in and around traffic. “Even those who are too young to be riding in motorcycles are already riding with their moms, dads, and older relatives. But since motorcycles are the practical mode of transportation for middle to low income families, children get transported through the pillion.
